Schoenherr has advised Palfinger on the successful placement of 2,826,516 treasury shares, raising gross proceeds of over EUR 100 million through an accelerated private placement with institutional investors. Wolf Theiss, working with Clifford Chance, advised joint bookrunners BofA Securities Europe SA and UniCredit Bank.

According to Schoenherr, the placement was oversubscribed multiple times. Shares were sold at EUR 35.40 per share, and proceeds will support Palfinger’s strategic expansion plans, including growth in Europe, North America, and Asia, increased defense sector activities, and capital structure strengthening.

In 2022, Schoenherr advised Palfinger on cross-shareholding reversal with Sany Group (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on January 6, 2022).

The Schoenherr team included Partners Christoph Moser and Sascha Schulz, Attorney at Law Angelika Fischer,  Associate Daniel Gritsch, and Paralegal Clemens Stockhammer.

The Wolf Theiss team included Partner Claus Schneider, Counsels Nikolaus Dinhof-Renezeder and Eva Stadler, Senior Associate Sebastian Prakljacic, and Associates Rainer Holweg and Magdalena Bertsch.
