Wolf Theiss has advised Raiffeisen Bank International on a non-recourse project financing facility to support the development of three photovoltaic power plants in Bulgaria.

According to Wolf Theiss, the financing enables the construction and operation of solar facilities across different Bulgarian regions, with the plants expected to meet the majority of the sponsor group’s electricity needs as part of its group-wide decarbonization strategy targeting net-zero emissions by 2040.

The Wolf Theiss team included Partners Katerina Kraeva, Nicholas Coddington, Radosveta Kojuharova, and Radoslav Mikov and Associate Ivan Ivanov.

Wolf Theiss could not provide additional information on the matter.
