CEE Attorneys Boanta Gidei si Asociatii has advised Fagura on the setup and launch of the Fagura.ro loan-based participatory finance provider platform.
The Fagura.ro platform is authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority and, according to the firm, is a platform offering loans to small and medium-sized companies. "The authorization from the ASF makes Fagura.ro one of the first loan-based equity providers authorized" in Romania, CEE Attorneys Boanta Gidei si Asociatii announced.
According to Partner Radu Boanta, the project tapped "diverse areas of expertise such as corporate, FinTech, crowdfunding, e-commerce, data protection, and AML" and will contribute "to the development of the business environment in Romania and provide a new tool for alternative financing."
