Wolf Theiss has advised Speedwell on developing its first industrial project in Romania, located northwest of Bucharest.
According to Wolf Theiss, "SpacePlus is a new concept on the Romanian market and Speedwell’s first industrial project. The product offers high-quality standardized storage or production units to rent, for light industrial and/or logistical usage, fit for the needs of SMEs." The SpacePlus project is being developed in cooperation with Belgium's LCV Real Estate, part of Willy Naessens Group, and "the largest industrial contractor in Belgium with vast experience in developing warehouses for SMEs," the firm announced.
"Our long-term goal is to turn SpacePlus into a national network by developing new locations in Bucharest as well as in other cities in Romania," Speedwell CFO Natalia Sarpi commented.
Speedwell is a property developer with a "significant portfolio of projects in Romania, including Record Park in Cluj-Napoca, The IVY, Triama Residence, Miro, The Meadows, CityZen, and SpacePlus in Bucharest, Paltim in Timisoara, and Riverside City in Ramnicu-Valcea,” Wolf Theiss reported.
The Wolf Theiss team included Partner Claudia Chiper, Senior Associate Alexandru Asaftei, and Associate Catalin Sabau.
