On July 18, 2022, Radu Taracila Padurari Retevoescu announced that Resource Partners and World Class Romania's sale of World Class to the African Industries Group (reported by CEE Legal Matters on April 27, 2022) has now closed.
According to RTPR, "the deal was closed on July 15, while the transaction documents were signed in April. Following the acquisition of the 41 World Class centers located all over the country, African Industries Group enters a new segment of business, health, and fitness."
As previously reported, Stratulat Albulescu advised Resource Partners and World Class Romania's management on the sale of World Class to the African Industries Group, with RTPR advising AIG.
The RTPR's updated team was led by Managing Partner Costin Taracila and included Managing Associates Marina Fecheta-Giurgica, Diana Dimitriu, Andrei Tosa, Associates Codrina Simionescu and Serban Halmagean, and Junior Associates Flavia Mincu, Miruna Tocileanu, and Ozana Ghic.
