Clifford Chance’s Warsaw office has advised Sun Investment Group Polska on the sale of a 170 megawatt solar parks portfolio currently under development to Ignitis Renewables. Gorzelnik Nentwig Ziebinski advised the buyer on the deal. Sorainen reportedly also advised Ignitis Renewables on the deal.
The parks are to be developed by Sun Investment Group by 2023, and are expected to yield 190 thousand megawatt hours of electricity annually.
Ignitis Renewables is a subsidiary of Ignitis Group, an international energy company which primarily focuses on the production and distribution of electric power, heat production, and natural gas.
