White & Case has advised Play Communications and its shareholders, Novator and Olympia, on the EUR 2.2 billion sale of all of its shares to French telecommunication provider Iliad SA. Bredin Prat reportedly advised the buyer on the deal.
According to White & Case, “Play Communications is a network operator in Poland with over 15 million customers and a 28 percent market share. Novator specializes in investing in companies across the telecommunications, health, and media/technology sectors. Olympia is an international investment group primarily focused on retail, manufacturing, distribution, business software, telecommunications, and real estate sectors.”
