SMM Legal has assisted PKN Orlen-controlled Grupa Energa S.A. on matters related to the July 7, 2020 launch of the Przykona Wind Farm in Poland.
SMM Legal describes the Przykona Wind Farm as "the largest and the most recent RES investment carried out by the Energa Group, which is ... increasing the share of renewables in its portfolio.” According to the firm, “this is also the first element of the planned RES Centre, with target capacity of 150 MW.” According to SMM Legal Partner Pawel Lacki, who led the firm’s team on the deal, “the role of my team was to ensure legal security at the stage of an intra-group acquisition.”
SMM Legal Managing Partner Przemyslaw Maciak worked on the deal as well.
