CMS has advised Macquarie’s Green Investment Group on a ten-year physical corporate Power Purchase Agreement with the Danone companies in Poland and separately on a route to market physical PPA with Axpo, one of the largest independent off-takers of renewable energy, under which the wind farm will sell the remaining volume of electric energy and receive balancing services from Axpo.

Orrick has advised Scoro, a producer of work management software for professional service businesses, on the closing of a USD 16.4 million Series B round led by Kennet Partners. Additional investors include Columbia Lake Partners, Inventure, Livonia Partners, and Tera Ventures. Estonian legal advice to Kennet Partners was provided by Hedman Partners, working with lead counsel Sheridans, and to Scoro by Eversheds Sutherland.

Kinstellar has helped the Business Lease Group B.V. and its CEE subsidiaries obtain a EUR 242 million refinancing loan in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia from a syndicate of ABN Amro Bank N.V., ING Bank N.V., and Cooperatieve Rabobank U.A. Linklaters has advised Chariot, a group managed by Griffin Real Estate, on the sale of retail parks in the Polish communities of Olsztyn, Opole, Kielce, and Tychy to EPP, which was advised by Dentons. The value of the transaction was EUR 106 million and the total leasable area of the properties amounts to 110,000 square meters. 

CEE Attorneys has advised the RT Torax Group on the acquisition of Nova Karolina Park in Ostrava from the Passerinvest Group. Clifford Chance advised the financing parties, which included Mezzanine Capital through MCI Eta s.r.o., J&T Banka, a.s., and J&T AIF Fund Sicav Plc through its J&T Loan Fund I subfund. 

Cakmak has advised Entek Elektrik, a subsidiary of Koc Holding engaged in the energy sector, on the acquisition of the 60 MW Suloglu wind power plant and its O&M services company from STEAG GmbH. Bezen Partners advised STEAG on the transaction which remains subject to regulatory approval.

Cakmak has advised Engie on the sale of its shares in energy-sector companies Izgaz, Baymina, and EPG to Palmet Enerji. Garanti BBVA and VakifBank provided acquisition financing to Palmet Enerji. Akol Law advised the buyer and GKC Partners in association with White & Case advised the banks.
