Allen Overy Shearman Sterling has advised Micro-Electronics, acting through its subsidiary Cooeperatief IMI Europe U.A., on the sale of IMI Czech Republic to Keboda Deutschland. Havel & Partners and Linklaters advised the buyers.
The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.
Keboda Deutschland is a subsidiary of Keboda Technology, a publicly listed company in China.
According to A&O Shearman, IMI operates in electronics manufacturing solutions, serving sectors such as automotive, industrial, power electronics, communications, and medical. The sale of IMI CZ forms part of IMI’s broader restructuring and footprint rationalization program, initiated in the second half of 2024, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and strategic focus.
