Glatzova & Co has successfully represented the Kovosrot Group before the High Court in Prague in a legal dispute over the payment of unjust enrichment for the use of land under a railway siding.
According to Glatzova & Co, the High Court in Prague found that the required payment for the use of the land was disproportionate. The court awarded the Kovosrot Group "compensation for the costs of proceedings for the entire 16 years of litigation," the firm informed.
"An interesting aspect of this dispute was the question of whether the railway siding, built in the 1970s and 1980s, is a part of the subsequently auctioned land, or [if it] is a separate building," the firm reported.
The Glatzova & Co team included Partner Erik Kolan and Lawyers Petr Mundl and Maria Jaloviciar.
