Polish lawyer Ludomir Biedecki has been promoted from Associated Partner to Senior Counsel at Noerr Warsaw.
According to Noerr, Senior Counsel is the more senior of the two levels of non-equity partnership offered by the firm, with equity being the next step.
Noerr describes Biedecki, who heads the firm's Warsaw office and co-heads its Real Estate and Investment Group, as having "comprehensive experience in share and asset deal transactions, mergers and other forms of corporate concentrations. He specializes in capital markets law, both in the equity and in the debt sector (IPOs, SPOs, manager option programs, public takeovers, squeeze-outs, delistings, bond issues, etc.)."
Biedecki joined Noerr at the very end of 2016 via a merger with his previous firm, DJBW (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on November 24, 2016). He had spent the previous three years at DJBW, nine before that at Biedecki Biedecki & Partners, and six before that equally divided between Allen & Overy and Wierzbowski Eversheds. He started his career in 1997 at the Polish Ministry of Finance, where he spent two years. He received his degree from the University of Warsaw.
