CMS, working with Clifford Chance, has advised UniCredit Group and Zagrebacka Banka on the EUR 550 million debt refinancing granted to Fortenova Grupa. King & Spalding reportedly advised Fortenova Grupa.

According to CMS, the refinancing enables Fortenova Grupa to replace its previous, higher-cost debt with a more favorable structure, enhancing financial flexibility and reducing interest costs.

The CMS team included Croatia-based Partner Jelena Nushol Fijacko and Senior Associate Relja Rajkovic, Serbia-based Partner Milica Popovic and Counsel Ksenija Boreta, Bosnia and Herzegovina-based Partner Andrea Zubovic-Devedzic, and Slovenia-based Partner Maja Zgajnar and Senior Associate Neza Voncina.
