Popov, Arnaudov & Partners has advised Bulgaria’s Ministry of Energy on the adoption of amendments to the Renewable Energy Sources Act, passed on May 14, 2025.
According to Popov, Arnaudov & Partners, the legislative changes aim to streamline coordination among institutions and simplify procedures for the deployment of renewable energy projects. Designed to benefit both large-scale developers and smaller producers, the updated framework is expected to foster a more efficient and accessible environment for renewable energy investments in Bulgaria.
