On August 1, 2023, Former Grecu & Asociatii Partner Alexandru Teodorescu announced the launch of his eponymous law firm in Bucharest: Teodorescu Partners.
The new firm will focus on commercial and business law, transactional and corporate/M&A, dispute resolution, employment law, and intellectual property.
Teodorescu himself focuses on litigation/disputes and corporate/commercial matters. Before establishing his law firm, he spent seven and a half years with Grecu & Asociatii, joining the team in 2016 as an Attorney at Law, making Senior Associate in 2020, and becoming a Partner in 2021. He led the firm's Corporate & Commercial and Dispute Resolution practices. Before that, he spent almost two years with Dumitru si Paraniac, starting in 2014 as a Law Clerk, and then as a Junior Associate between 2015 and 2016. He was also on Romania's national luge team between 2007 and 2014 and competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
"Inspiration was easy to find – I grew up in Sinaia, at the foot of the Bucegi mountains, and they instilled in me all the principles by which I will lead this project," Teodorescu commented when making the announcement. "To all who have supported and believed in us from the beginning, I express my heartfelt gratitude. Your encouragement has been the driving force behind the realization of this dream."
