Kolcuoglu Demirkan Kocakli has advised Mediterra Capital, a prominent Turkish private equity fund, on its acquisition of 70% of shares in Arkel Elektrik Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi through its portfolio company, Istinye Asansor Teknolojileri Anonim Sirketi. The sellers were advised by the Caliskan Kizilyel Toker (CKT) law firm.
Arkel is a Turkish manufacturer of lift control cards, control panels, emergency rescue systems, and inspection and alarm sets.
The KDK team was led by Managing Partner Umut Kolcuoglu and included lawyers Begum İncecam, Ayse Aydin, and Cansu Coban.
