On the 20th of February Lawin’s Tallinn office organized a legal due diligence simulation for students from the Tartu University law faculty.

According to the firm, “the LDD simulation is a group case study, during which teams of law students are challenged to carry out a legal due diligence on an imaginary company. Students get practical hands-on experience on every stage of a LDD from receiving prior documentation to carrying out interviews with key management members to presenting their findings. The management of the imaginary company is played by Lawin attorneys. The team showing the best and most relevant findings in the simulation is rewarded by Lawin gifts and souvenirs.”

The Tallinn office of Lawin has been organizing the event every year since 2010, and the firm describes it as "a great opportunity for students to get a peek into the professional life of an attorney and for the firm to meet talented law students."
