Squire Patton Boggs Appoints New European Managing Partner

Squire Patton Boggs announced that the firm’s Global Board has unanimously approved the appointment of Jane Haxby as the firm’s European Managing Partner, and that her three year term becomes effective on January 1, 2017. Haxby, who will also serve on the Global Board, succeeds Peter Crossley, who served as the firm’s European Managing Partner for 12 years.

Haxby joined the firm as a trainee in 1993 and became Partner in 2001. She served as Managing Partner of the firm’s office in Manchester, England, and in 2013 was appointed Chair of the Global Corporate Group for EMEA. Throughout her career she has focused her practice on advising public and private companies on corporate finance with particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, reorganizations, and general corporate structuring.

Squire Patton Boggs has also announced that Fred Nance has been appointed Global Managing Partner, US LLP. He will also serve a three year term and serve on the firm’s Global Board, succeeding Partner Steve Mahon.
