Wolf Theiss has advised the Visma group on its acquisition of Intelligent IT, developer of the SmartBill billing software. RTPR Allen & Overy advised Intelligent IT's selling shareholders.
According to Wolf Theiss, the transaction was structured as a staggered sale, with Visma initially acquiring 50.1% of Intelligent IT, with three more tranches to follow.
Wolf Theiss's team was led by Partner Ileana Glodeanu and included Counsel Adelina Iftime-Blagean and Bucharest-based Counsel Mircea Ciocarlea and Associates Postelnicu Madalina Cornelia, Nina Lazar, Sorin Dumitru, George Ghitu, Iulia Gabriela Cumparatu, and Andreea Stan, as well as Austrian Counsel Robert Wagner.
The RTPR Allen & Overy team was led by Partner Alina Stavaru, working with Associate Evelin Grigore and -- on Competition aspects -- Senior Associate Andrei Mihul.
