Return of Founding Partner and Promotion of New Partner at Avellum

Avellum has celebrated the new year by announcing the return of co-founding Partner Kostiantyn Likarchuk and the promotion to Partner of Maksym Maksymenko.

Kostiantyn Likarchuk returns to Avellum as Senior Partner and Head of International Arbitration. He began his career at the Veritas law firm in 1998, then co-founded Melnychenko & Likarchuk in 2000, and joined former Baker McKenzie Partner Mykola Stetsenko in establishing Avellum in 2009. He left the Kyiv firm to join the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in 2015, and then moved to Kinstellar in 2016. Likarchuk obtained his first Master's degree in Law at the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 2000 and his second at the Columbia University School of Law in 2005.

Maksym Maksymenko heads Avellum’s Real Estate and Infrastructure practice. He began his career at Spenser & Kauffmann in 2007 and joined Avellum in 2017. He obtained his doctorate at the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 2013.
