Gide and its Turkish associated firm Ozdirekcan Dundar Senocak have advised Ak Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., the Turkish affiliate of Lactalis, on the acquisition of two dairy production facilities in Izmir from the Gurler Group.
Ak Gida operates in of the milk and dairy products sector with facilities in the Turkish communities of Sakarya, Karaman, Luleburgaz, Kahramanmaras, and Aydin. The company owns such brands as Icim and Dolcia.
The transaction closed on March 5, 2019.
Gide’s team consisted of Partner Arpat Senocak and Senior Associates Ece Cakirel Eskinat and Iklim Gulsun Aytekin.
Gide did not reply to our inquires about the deal.
