Schoenherr has advised BlackPeak Capital portfolio company euShipments.com on its acquisition of a majority stake in Romanian e-fulfillment provider Helpship.

According to the firm, "Helpship is an e-fulfillment provider that was founded in 2019 by two Romanian entrepreneurs. By 2023, the company was among the most successful and preferred local fulfillment service providers, processing more than 80,000 online orders each month."

euShipments has, for over ten years, been operating a fulfillment and cross-border delivery network that combines the entire portfolio of services of more than 50 courier companies in Europe, offering its clients over 600 delivery methods across the continent.

"The new partnership will further strengthen the market position of euShipments and unlock numerous benefits for its customers, including new cross-border shipping services, faster transit times to various European countries, and a more seamless and integrated customer experience," Schoenherr announced. "This is the second strategic acquisition for euShipments since the investment from private equity fund BlackPeak Capital in 2022."

Schoenherr had also advised BlackPeak Capital on its initial EUR 7.5 million equity investment into euShipments.com and its subsidiary InOut Trade (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on April 12, 2022).

The Schoenherr team was led by Partner Madalina Neagu and included Senior Attorney at Law Mihaela Popescu and Attorney at Law Alexandra Smahon.
