ZRP Promotes Monica Strimbei and Catalin Micu to Partner

Zamfirescu Racoti & Partners has promoted Monica Strimbei and Catalin Micu to Partner.

Strimbei is a member of ZRP's Dispute Resolution department. According to the firm, "she will manage the litigation mandates in the area of capital markets, administrative-contentious and energy & natural resources." She specializes in civil and administrative litigation in various business sectors, including disputes over the capital market, public procurement, energy and natural resources, partnership structures and corporate governance. She is a graduate of the Law Faculty of the Bucharest University and holds a Master’s degree in International Law. 

Micu will take over the coordination of ZRP's Labor & Employment department, as well as co-manage and consolidate the firm's Commercial and Medical Law practices. According to the firm, "he specializes in Labor Law and provides generalized assistance in this field to international corporations with subsidiaries in Romania and local companies. He has been providing legal assistance for over 12 years in negotiating contracts, implementing management systems and corporate transfers."

Before joining ZRP in 2006, Micu worked at Hahui & Associations. He studied law at the Babes-Bolyai University and Cluj-Napoca and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest.
