Schoenherr has assisted AkzoNobel on its acquisition of 100% of the shares of Fabryo Corporation S.R.L., a decorative paints company. The seller, Swedish investment fund Oresa Ventures, was assisted by Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii.
The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2018, subject to regulatory approval.
According to AkzoNobel, "the transaction includes two production facilities and six distribution centers for decorative paints, adhesives and mortars, including one of the largest decorative paints factories in the region, with capacity for further expansion.
