Suciu Popa’s dispute resolution team has successfully represented an Enel Group company at the Romanian High Court of Cassation and Justice in a matter involving the issuance of green certificates for a wind energy production project.

The firm's client was challenging the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority's refusal to grant green certificates to it, although, according to Suciu Popa, "in another similar procedure, another operator, also in the renewable energy sector, based on a similar administrative procedure, had received the required green certificates."

The High Court of Cassation and Justice quashed the Regulatory Authority's decision and sent the case back for reconsideration.

The Suciu Popa team was coordinated by Managing Partner Miruna Suciu and Managing Associate Iulian Cioienaru, with the involvement of Senior Associates Oana Popa-Neculet and Siranus Hahamian and Associate Vlad Lupascu.
