Reff & Associates has advised NEPI Rockcastle on its taking over the building of a commercial center in downtown Sibiu, Romania, from Primavera Development Group in a deal worth around EUR 21 million. Primavera Development Group was assisted by Eversheds Romania.
NEPI Rockcastle plc is a commercial property investor and developer that is listed on the Main Board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Limited and Euronext Amsterdam.
The plans for the construction of the mall on a 3.4 hectare plot on the former Simerom factory have existed since 2008. The commercial center, which is expected to open at the end of 2019, will have 43,000 square meters of leasable area.
