Schoenherr has advised M Core on its acquisition of the Focsani Shopping Centre from KBC Bank. Ionescu, Stoica si Asociatii reportedly advised KBC Bank.
According to Schoenherr, the Focsani Shopping Centre, a 45,000-square-meter core retail asset boasting a 92% occupancy rate in 2025 and home to more than 100 retailers, has demonstrated strong, sustained performance over the last 17 years. The acquisition further strengthens M Core’s growing footprint in the Romanian real estate market, where it has over EUR 200 million in projected developments planned over the next two years.
