Dentons Advises Raiffeisen Bank, BCR, and BRD on Bucharest's New RON 555 Million Bond Issuance

Dentons has advised a consortium of banks including Raiffeisen Bank Romania, BCR, and BRD on a new RON 555 million bond issuance by the City of Bucharest.

According to Raiffeisen Bank Romania, "the transaction, worth RON 555 million, was sold through a private placement to Romanian institutional investors and benefited from a significant interest from them." The bonds, with a maturity of seven years, were admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange on April 28, 2023.

Dentons also advised the banks on Bucharest Municipality's previous RON 555 million private placement of bonds and their admission to trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange on April 29, 2022 (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on May 9, 2022).
