Romanian legal services marketplace QuickLegal has secured EUR 236,000 in funding from the EEA & Norway Grants and private investors.

The EEA and Norway Grants, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, have two goals – to contribute to a more equal Europe, both socially and economically – and to strengthen the relations between Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, and 15 beneficiary states in Europe.

According to QuickLegal, its team “aims to bring a change to the Romanian legal environment by developing its platform and integrating cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence.” The team is led by Luminita Busuricu, Iulia Caizer, and Bianca Florea, three lawyers with a “joint experience of 25 years in the legal field.”

You can read more about the project, the platform, and its founders in our 2022 interview: The Legal Market’s Online Marketplace – Introducing QuickLegal.

"We are delighted to have the support of the EEA & Norway Grants through the Innovation Norway grant,” QuickLegal CEO Luminita Busuricu commented. “The funds will be invested in expanding the platform's functionalities by creating a robo-lawyer that will provide instant legal information to users, as well as by developing a virtual law office that will enable exclusive online interaction with specialized lawyers."
