Eversheds Sutherland has advised Nepi Rockcastle on the acquisition of 17 hectares of land in Galati, Romania, for a mixed-use real estate project. Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen reportedly advised the unidentified sellers on the deal.

According to Eversheds Sutherland, “the transaction is part of Nepi Rockcastle's medium and long-term strategy of local expansion, focused on the development of mixed-use projects (where the commercial centre remains the anchor, enhanced by complementary functions, mainly residential), and is an important indicator of the local market liquidities, which contribute to an increased investor confidence.”

Eversheds Sutherland’s team included Managing Partner Cristian Lina, Partner Cristian Guia, and Senior Associate Cristina Rosca.
