NNDKP and Revnic, Cristian si Asociatii Advise on Medicover's Acquisition of Polaris Medical

Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen has advised Medicover on its acquisition of Polaris Medical in Cluj-Napoca from the Socea family. Revnic, Cristian si Asociatii advised the sellers on the deal.

According to NNDKP, Medicover is a “leading provider of private medical services in Romania. Following the transaction, Medicover will hold the majority stake in Polaris Medical.”

According to the firm, “Medicover plans to invest over EUR 8 million in the hospital to turn it into a multidisciplinary hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute conditions. Dr Ovidiu Gogu Cacuci, the founder of Pelican Hospital Oradea, which Medicover took over in 2018, will be a partner in the project.”
