Vlasceanu, Nyerges & Partners has advised Axxess Capital's Partners Horia Manda and Valentin Tabus on their EUR 550,000 investment in educational technology start-up Brio.
According to the firm, Brio's valuation has reached EUR 5.5 million, double the amount set in the previous round of funding a year and a half ago. The company also announced the opening of a new round of investments through SeedBlink.
Brio is a Romanian startup providing services for students, parents, educators, schools, and other institutions. The Brio Testing System is approved by the Ministry of Education and Research and offers tests based on the Romanian curriculum in Mathematics, History, Romanian, Literacy, and Digital Literacy. The platform is currently used by over 100,000 users.
