Kinstellar has advised Danish agricultural investment company FirstFarms on its DKK 20 million sale of land in Western Romania. Roedl & Partner reportedly advised the buyer.

"The transaction is part of an agreement signed by FirstFarms to divest the farming operations in western Romania," Kinstellar informed. "Once FirstFarms ends operations in western Romania, the company will shift its focus towards crop production in the eastern part of the country."

Founded in 2006, FirstFarms is a Denmark-headquartered company, operating in Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. The company has 16 plant and animal production units, with over 300 employees.

Kinstellar previously advised FirstFarms on the acquisition of agricultural land in Romania from NCH Capital (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on March 11, 2020), on the sale of a farm in Western Romania (as reported on June 23, 2020), and on the sale and divestment of its operations in North-Western Romania (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 27, 2021).

The Kinstellar team included Managing Associate Catalin Dinu and Associate Adelina Seserman.
