The Bucharest office of Kinstellar has helped Ontario Power Generation, acting through its Canadian Nuclear Partners subsidiary, to enter into a EUR 3.156 million contract to refurbish Reactor 1 of the Cernavoda nuclear power plant from Romania’s S.N. Nuclearelectrica S.A.

Canadian Nuclear Partners is a subsidiary of Ontario Power Generation, a corporation wholly owned by the Government of Ontario and responsible for approximately half of the electricity generation in the Province of Ontario, Canada. The company produces nuclear, hydro and solar power, and develops small modular reactors.

The Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant is a two-unit CANDU 6 station operated by the state-owned power utility Nuclearelectrica.
