Suciu Popa has successfully assisted Gianni Versace S.r.l., the owner of the Versace trademarks, with a series of judiciary and extra-judiciary procedures involving the defense of Versace's trademarks against an unauthorized producer and distributor based in the European Union.

According to Suciu Popa, the firm's involved "[proposing] the implementation an innovative approach of matters pertaining to the application of Regulation (EU) 2017/1001 on the European Union trade mark and of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 100/2005 ensuring the protection of industrial property rights, including the standard of evidence for genuine use of the trademark and the conflict with signs registered in parallel by the respective unauthorized producer and distributor with EUIPO."
