Former DLA Piper Counsel Alexandra Radulescu has joined Simion & Baciu as Partner. 

According to Simion & Baciu, Radulescu has more than 14 years of experience, primarily in Dispute Resolution, especially “domestic and international arbitration, as well as competition and administrative litigation in general." According to the firm, ”Alexandra's expertise includes advising and representing clients in commercial, construction, and defense arbitration proceedings before the Court of Arbitration attached to the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and ICC International Court of Arbitration, in cases seated in Paris, Vienna, and Bucharest. [She] has represented clients in various high profile competition litigation case files, acting for both claimants, in disputes concerning the annulment of sanctioning decisions and legal privilege decisions issued by the Romanian Competition Council, as well as for defendants in claims initiated by competitors or stemming from or in relation with antitrust investigations conducted by the Romanian Competition Council.”

Radulescu holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. from the University of Bucharest. Prior to joining Simion & Baciu she spent three years with PwC Legal, three years with PeliFilip, and over seven years with DLA Piper.

Commenting on her appointment, Radulescu announced on LinkedIn that she is “happy to start this new chapter, [and] grateful to be doing it with friends!"
