Suciu Popa has successfully represented Grup Feroviar Roman in its request that a bankruptcy claim filed against its subsidiary Rovit SA be dismissed.

According to Suciu Popa, "Grup Feroviar Roman is a multinational railway freight and infrastructure group [that] is the shareholder of Rovit SA, a Romanian wine producer with over 50 years of experience in the winery field." According to the firm, "during the insolvency procedure, Suciu Popa's lawyers proved the illegality and groundlessness of the bankruptcy claim, both from a procedural standpoint, as well as from the perspective of the applicable substantive law."

Suciu Popa adds that the dismissal is "Important as it implies the continuation of the activity of a fully owned Romanian company, having a sound track-record and 50 years of uninterrupted activity in the wine production sector."

Suciu Popa's team included Partner Daciana Popa and Managing Associate Radu Chiran.
