Dentons Bucharest Managing Partner Perry Zizzi has been appointed Head of M&A in Romania.
According to Dentons, “Perry’s career as an M&A lawyer spans 25 years and multiple jurisdictions including the USA, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, where he has advised buyers, sellers and other parties on acquisitions, sales and joint ventures. His expertise in real estate M&A is particularly well-known, and he has advised in many other sectors such as banking/financial services, TMT, energy, industrial, consumer goods, and Horeca. With his team, Perry negotiated the very first warranty and indemnity insurance policy ever issued for a transaction in Romania in connection with an acquisition by a client in 2015.”
“While over the past five years, Romania has seen only a quarter of the M&A transactions compared to Poland, it is a country with great potential being eyed by investors and will see an increased number of transactions in the coming period,” commented Zizzi. “At Dentons, we plan to have an active role in connecting buyers with sellers and advising on strategic M&As on the local market.”
