Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii has successfully represented the interests of the Association of Romanian Construction Companies and several other large construction companies before the Bucharest Court of Appeal.
According to PNSA, the firm was able to persuade the Court to annul Romania's National Agency for Public Procurement President's Instructions no. 1/2019 on matters of contract price adjustment in public procurement and supply projects. According to the firm, "the ruling is a major move for construction companies acting in public procurement and supplies since in this way they have regained certain control of the economic balance of their contracts with the public authorities, especially related to indexation triggered by the increase in the minimum wage in the construction field.”
