Wolf Theiss, Clifford Chance, and WKB Advise on Axpo Polska's Power Purchase Agreements with Energix Group

Wolf Theiss has advised Axpo Polska on two wind power purchase agreements with the Energix Group. Clifford Chance and Wiercinski, Kwiecinski, Baehr advised the Energix Group on the deal.

Axpo Polska is part of the Axpo Group – Switzerland's largest producer of renewable energy.

Energix is a power producer specializing in renewable energy, presently active mainly in the field of photovoltaics and wind power.

According to Wolf Theiss, Axpo Polska will, based on the agreements, “offtake all of the energy generated by five of Energix Group's wind farms operating in Poland. The wind farms from which Axpo Polska will repurchase energy are in the West Pomeranian and Warmian-Masurian provinces, consist of 130 wind turbines, have a total installed capacity of approximately 300 megawatts, and are able to generate an average annual output of around one terawatt.”
