SSK&W Stoklosa Syp & Wspolnicy has advised venture capital funds Satus VC and CofounderZone and several business angels on their co-investment in food waste prevention platform Foodsi.

According to SSK&W, the business angels included Arkadiusz Krupicz, Piotr Czajkowski, Marcin Celejewski, Bartosz Ciolkowski, and Piotr Markowski.

"Foodsi is an application founded by Mateusz Kowalczyk and Kuba Fryszczyna that allows restaurants and shops to sell surplus food instead of throwing it away," SSK&W informed. "The buyers buy it for as little as a third of the price, and entrepreneurs gain additional income and potentially new customers."

Satus VC is a PFR Ventures co-financed fund. CofounderZone is a platform connecting entrepreneurs with start-ups.

The SSK&W team included Partner Szymon Syp and Counsel Iga Wojtczak-Opala.

SSK&W did not respond to our inquiry on the matter.
