Norton Rose Fulbright has advised a consortium of banks including Santander Bank Polska S.A. and Bank Ochrony Srodowiska S.A. on financing for Bakalland. Deloitte Legal reportedly advised Bakalland on the deal.
According to Norton Rose, “Bakalland is the leader in the dried fruit and nuts market in Poland and the biggest company in the healthy food industry. For more than 30 years it has specialized in the dried fruit and nuts industry and has been developing further segments.”
According to the firm, “the funds will be used for refinancing the acquisition costs and existing indebtedness and financing the business activities.”
