White & Case has advised Poland's Grupa Pracuj on its approximately EUR 118 million acquisition of Germany-based Softgarden eRecruiting.

The transaction is expected to close at the end of June 2022.

Grupa Pracuj is the owner of recruitment brands in Poland (Pracuj.pl) and Ukraine (Robota.ua) and also owns an e-recruiter platform. It provides services to support employers in managing recruitment processes and building their brands.

Softgarden eRecruiting is a provider of software to increase the reach of job prospects that includes a feedback solution and applications management system. Together with absence.io, a provider of internal human resources process solutions acquired in 2021, Softgarden eRecruiting has more than 3,500 customers and is active in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland as well as in other European markets such as Poland, Spain, and France.

Last year, White & Case advised Grupa Pracuj on its IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange regulated market (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on December 21, 2021).

White & Case’s team included Warsaw-based Partner Rafal Kaminski and Associate Damian Lubocki, with further team members in Berlin and Frankfurt.
