CMS Advises PFR Fund on Exit from Jaworzno Power Plant

CMS has advised Fundusz Inwestycji Infrastrukturalnych – Kapitalowy FIZAN on the sale of shares in Nowe Jaworzno Grupa Tauron to Tauron Polska Energia S.A for more than PLN 1 billion.

Fozan is part of the investment portfolio managed by Polski Fundusz Rozwoju.

According to CMS, ”NJGT was responsible for the construction of a new unit in Jaworzno worth over PLN 6 billion, one of the largest investment projects in the energy sector in recent years, and is currently the operator of the 910-megawatt plant.”

CMS’s team included Partners Blazej Zagorski and Piotr Ciolkowski, Counsels Michal Andruszkiewicz and Olga Czyzycka, Senior Associates Rafal Burda, Piotr Prawda, Jan Radziuk, Adam Kedziora, and Maciej Olejnik, Associate Ada Szon, and Lawyer Mateusz Mazur.
