DLA Piper and Baker McKenzie Advise on Hunter Douglas’ Acquisition of Droma - Sunshade Experts

DLA Piper has advised the shareholders of Droma - Sunshade Experts on the sale of 74% of its shares to Hunter Douglas. Baker McKenzie advised the buyer.

The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

Droma - Sunshade Experts is a Polish manufacturer of made-to-measure exterior sunscreens, shutters, and awnings. According to DLA Piper, the company expected 2021 sales to amount to approximately EUR 63 million.

Hunter Douglas is a Dutch multinational corporation manufacturing architectural products, mainly window blinds and coverings. 

The DLA Piper team was led by Partner Jakub Domalik-Plakwicz and included Senior Associate Anna Chrabota-Bajson, Associates Kamila Mozdzen and Arkadiusz Karwala, and Junior Associate Jakub Niemiec.

The Baker McKenzie team was led by Senior Associate Lukasz Targoszynski and included Associates Anna Zmitrowicz and Joanna Lis.
