Gessel Advises Anwim on Acquisition of The Fuel Company

Gessel has advised Anwim on its acquisition of a 90% stake in Dutch enterprise The Fuel Company Holding.

Closing is expected in early 2022.

Anwim operates a network of over 350 petrol stations under the Moya brand. Apart from selling fuel, the Moya locations feature the company’s Caffe MOYA food counter, a convenience store, a car wash, and facilitation for business customers. Anwim is a portfolio company of the Enterprise Investors fund.

The Fuel Company is a Dutch operator of fleet cards for international transport. TFC also offers electric vehicle charging via a charging station network covering 46 countries.

Gessel’s team included Managing Partner Marcin Macieszczak, Managing Associates Bartlomiej Wozniak and Krzysztof Jasinski, and Associates Diana Strzalkowska and Magdalena Mirkowska.
