White & Case, Lux Nova Partners and Allen & Overy Advise on Octopus Wind Farm Acquisition

White & Case has advised the Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust on the acquisition of two in-construction onshore wind farms in Poland from the PNE Group. Lux Nova Partners advised PNE on English matters. Allen & Overy advised Bayerische Landesbank and the EBRD on financing the deal. Solivan reportedly advised PNE on Polish law matters.

According to White & Case, the PNE Group is a German developer of wind projects across Europe. The Krzecin and the Kuslin wind farms have a combined capacity of 58.8 megawatts. Their construction commenced in Q4 of 2020 and the projects are expected to be commissioned in Q4 of 2021 and mid-2022, respectively. The projects are financed by the EBRD and BayernLB.
