Dentons has advised CEE Equity Partners, the investment advisor of the China-CEE Fund I, on the sale by the fund of three onshore wind farms in Poland, with a total capacity of 163 megawatts, to Iberdrola. Baker McKenzie reportedly advised Iberdrola on the deal.

The wind farms will be incorporated into the group's Baltic Sea Hub, which will act as the center of Iberdrola's wind energy activities in Germany, Poland, and Sweden. The production from the facilities is largely already covered by 10-year power purchase agreements. Two of the projects, with a joint capacity of 112.5 MW, are already operational, and the third one, with 50.4 MW capacity, will start construction shortly.

Dentons' Warsaw-based team included Partner Agnieszka Kulinska, Managing Counsel Marcin Paliwoda, Senior Associate Filip Raubo, and Associates Patrycja Pakla, Lena Boczkaja, and Malgosia Debicka.
