Rymarz Zdort Advises Brookfield on Investment in Polenergia

Rymarz Zdort has advised BIF IV Europe Holdings Limited, an affiliate of Brookfield Renewable Partners, on its unspecified investment in Polish renewable energy producer Polenergia S.A.

Polenergia currently has in operation or under construction approximately 443 megawatts of onshore wind and solar capacity (operating or under construction). The company also operates offshore wind farms in Poland with the approximate capacity of 3 gigawatts. Recently, Rymarz Zdort advised Polenergia on its entrance into a joint venture with Denmark’s Orsted for the construction of the Baltica-3 and Baltica-2 wind farms (as reported by CEELM on February 23, 2021).

Brookfield Renewable Partners is a Toronto-based publicly traded owner and operator of over 200 hydroelectric plants, 100 wind farms, over 550 solar facilities, and four storage facilities, with approximately 16,400 MW of installed capacity.
