Former CMS Partner and Head of Finance Mark Segall has joined Dentons's Banking and Finance team in Warsaw.

Segall's experience covers a wide range of financial products, including acquisition and leveraged finance, structured commodity finance and project finance, as well as cross-border syndicated lending. He also specializes in natural resources, agricultural, and logistics projects. He began his career at Redcliffes Le Brasseur in 1999, where he stayed for almost three years. He moved to Macfarlanes in 2002 and Ashurst in 2004. Segall joined UniCredit in 2007, where he stayed until joining CMS in 2010.

"I am very pleased to be joining Dentons," Segall commented. "It is an ambitious and vibrant team to which I bring years of experience in handling projects on the European scale. Working closely across jurisdictions is what clients expect. Dentons' scale of operations and momentum make it easy to work with colleagues and counter-parties on both sides of the Channel."

"Mark joins our fast-growing team, which is recognized by the market as a center of excellence for coordinating leading financial projects in the region," said Mateusz Toczyski, Partner and Head of Dentons's Banking and Finance team in Poland and in Europe. "His experience and competence are an invaluable asset not only to the firm, but more importantly to our clients who expect a broad view and legal craftsmanship to deliver on their demanding projects across Europe."
